I did it. . . .

After a long time im writing this. The last blog of mine was beforing going to Annamalai University, Chidambaram for presenting my paper. The event was one of the fruitful moments of my life. I landed in chidambaram at midnight 12 '0' clock. Stayed at my friends house that night and then went to the university next day morning. It was such a big university and felt like I was in a fort. First I went to the room arranged for me and then registered myself for the conference. The session started with many guest lectures and my presentation was scheduled for the next day. Except me and two other girls others where professors, research scholars and PG students.Only we were UG students.
The first session of the presentation was in the afternoon and it went on very well and that was the first time I saw how they present a paper and how the judges screw the presenters. That night due to change in my routine I got fever and common cold. The next day morning session was also good and we had a new judge. He really questioned everyone like hell and it made me worry as its my first time. Mine was scheduled as the first after lunch. I feared a lot and my mind even made me feel to such an extent that I thought of leaving the conference without presenting the paper. But I didnt have guts to do that as Im answerable to my faculty who guided me and was a supporting pillar for me. Fear also prevented me from having lunch.
Then I made up my mind and went on with the presentation. I started with an intro of mine and specified that I was an Undergraduate student just doing my third year and went on. After finishing the presentation I saw the judge taking the mike. This almost killed me. But suddenly he turned to audience and asked whether they have any questions for me. There were two questions for me and I answered them. After these questions the judge told everyone that, I was just an UG student, this effort of mine itself is appreciatable and he has no questions.
This made me feel heaven. I was the only one to be left without questioning by the judge. Thank you god.
In the presidential speech given by the dean of the university during the valedictory function my paper along with 2 other paper was specially mentioned as the "Socially concerned Paper". This I consider as a greatest gift and that boosted my morale.
Atlast I returned chennai with very high fever the next day morning.

My first presentation.....

Tomorrow am gonna step into new world. Am going to present my first paper in a national conference in annamalai university. My paper is about "Data Warehouse in Health care management for rural areas". I did it under the guidance of my faculty. Its actually her inspiration and support that made me achieve this.
Im going to leave to chidambaram in another 3 hours from chennai and going to return only on tuesday morning. My prayers are on for winning it. I suppose I will achieve it as it is going to play a vital role in my career.
I was suppose to start in the morning but yesterday night I got a important call informing me about an meeting. So I rescheduled my trip to evening. Hope I will achieve the purpose of it too...

Budget 2008...

To my point of view the budget of 2k8 produced by Indian finance minister is really an awesome one. it clearly shows his efficiency and knowledge. The particular thing that attracted me was waiving of the debts of many small and middle sized farmers. This saved life of many of them. The next thing was reducing the threshold level for women and senior citizens. This is an excellent plan. Right from the day i saw budget till today what is a common was rising the price of tobacco products. As a citizen i would really welcome this budget. This clearly shows that our country is developing at a faster rate .

SQL server 2k5......

Recently i was working in a project using c#.net as front end and MS SQL server as back end. i had the necessity of creating a table dynamically with the name of the user as the table name. i.e. once a user registers, a table is created in his name. For this i tried several methods like assigning the username to a variable and passing it as parameter for table name, passing the username directly as parameter. But none worked out. But still i searched for it over the net. Couldnt find any solutions.
I got vexed and was still searching. One day i had a chance to meet a programmer who works on SQL server. I put forth this question to him, he replied saying that there is possibility of creating a table dynamically as per my requirement but this is not prefered. He requested me not to try this because there is a possiblity of code injection attack i.e. if an user enters some code or enters a improper name in the place for text which accepts all forms because it is an string datatype, then the table name would be the same which is not a good programming practice(gpp). And the security of data is also poor as once you know the username its easy to hack the table and its data.
So, if anyone have the same idea just chuck it....

Even I am Into It....

I am R.S.Diwaagar a student currently doing UG.
It makes me feel good when i think even am a blogger now... i was thinking of writing a blog for a long time but it all came true only today. First i wondered what to write and was thinking it for a long time. Then thought of putting all my emotions, perceptions and information. When i meant information im actually not gonna post my information instead just post some blog on the diverging technology and business. So if any1 is interested in it just look at my blog.
